Kaffe Fassett / Brandon Mably Lecture

Marvellous Saturday in Ballan, Victoria, attending lecture by the master himself, and his assistant.  Beautiful setting, and lovely seeing Millrose Gallery and catching up with Sue Bartleman, the owner.  Fabulous display of KF quilting fabric, books and quilts, amongst other delights.  Check Millrose Gallery out online for a wonderful selection of Liberty prints as well.

Exciting!!

My niece and I are off to see Kaffe Fassett and Brandon Mably tomorrow at Millrose Quilting and Gallery in Ballan, Victoria.  We are very excited as you can imagine!  Kaffe is in Australia for a series of workshop/lectures and as one of the top knit and fabric design artists in the world, we are understandably just a tad excited about having the opportunity to see and hear him, and his colleague, Brandon.  Here are a few photos.

This scarf is called Ralayne, and is crocheted using Noro Kureyon Sock yarn.  It takes 1 x 100gm ball of yarn.
Intermezzo Scarf
This is Intermezzo which is also worked in Noro Kureyon Sock yarn, and takes 1 x 100gm ball of yarn.  This pattern has been very popular.

                                                         APPLE BLOSSOM SCARF
Welcome to my blog.  I am intending to post pictures of my patterns here so that knitters and crocheters can see them.  I have designed a few scarf and other patterns over the past few years, which have been sold through yarn shops here in Australia, and also on Etsy and Ravelry.
